Comprehensive training process in a virtual format, focused on climate justice, policy analysis, and strategic communication, oriented toward the Global South context, incorporating a “learning by doing” methodology as well as spaces for horizontal dialogue.

International Advocacy

COP31 in Antalya, Turkey, November 9–20, 2026

Participation in the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), within the framework of multilateral processes of negotiation, dialogue, and international coordination, as well as capacity-building for effective participation in global climate governance.

Local Impact

Post COP Phase

Upon returning home, actions will be developed aimed at the democratization of knowledge and the facilitation of community-based processes, in alignment with the capacities and skills acquired during the program.

What we offer

Full financing

Selected delegates will receive round-trip airfare from their city of residence to Antalya, Turkey; shared accommodation during their stay; a stipend to cover meals and local transportation; as well as international health insurance.

Expert advice

Participants will receive guidance on international climate policy throughout the training process.

Global Networking

The program facilitates the exchange of experiences and the establishment of connections with key organizations at the global level.

This call is aimed at young people who are nationals of Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Indonesia, Ghana, Gabon, Uganda, or Tanzania, who reside in these countries or are migrants or refugees from them; who belong to Indigenous, peasant, Afro-descendant, or rural communities, and/or are victims of armed conflict; who speak Spanish or English; and who have experience or involvement in climate or socio-environmental action processes.

The program can be conducted in Spanish and English. A basic or intermediate level of English is recommended, especially for the international phase.

An approximate availability of 15 hours per month is required, plus additional time for activities, assessments, and deliverables.

It does not cover: Passport or visa processing fees, personal expenses, or any costs not specified in the call for applications.

You will need to implement an initiative in your territory focused on democratizing knowledge and climate action, with support and guidance from the program.

The participation will be in the Conference of the Parties (COP) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will take place in Antalya, Turkey from November 9 to 20, 2026.

If you are a minor, you may apply as long as you are at least 15 years old at the time of the call. If selected, you must provide formal authorization from your parents or legal guardians, as well as comply with any additional requirements and procedures established by applicable national and international regulations for your participation in the program. Additional documentation may also be required to ensure your proper participation and protection throughout all stages of the process.

You don’t need complete fluency, but you do need a foundation that allows you to interact. The Life of Pachamama team will guide you through the process and may tentatively offer a short course for Spanish speakers, which will be held separately.
